KIDS & FAMILIES

The same gentle care, all the way up.

The babies I adjust don’t stop needing care when they start walking. They become toddlers who faceplant off the couch, kids who carry backpacks heavier than they are, and athletes who take hits at the rink every weekend. I see them through all of it — and their parents too, because the people holding the family together deserve to feel good in their own bodies.

This is the part of the practice that grows with you. A lot of the families I see started with a pregnancy or a newborn, and now I’m adjusting a wiggly six-year-old and a dad with a desk-job neck in the same afternoon. That’s exactly how I like it.

What it looks like, by age.

Toddlers & little kids

Still gentle, still unrushed. For the squirmy ones, I work with them where they are — on a parent’s lap, on the floor, mid-giggle. Sometimes my hands, sometimes the activator on its lowest setting. Never the dramatic twists or pops you might be picturing.

School-age kids

Growing bodies do a lot of changing fast. I keep an eye on how they’re carrying themselves, how they’re sleeping, how they’re bouncing back from the everyday falls and the heavy backpacks. Visits are quick, easy, and most kids actually look forward to them — siblings have been known to argue over who gets the table first.

Athletes & busy kids

Hockey, gymnastics, soccer, all of it — active kids put real demands on bodies that are still growing. I help them move well, recover from the bumps, and stay comfortable through a long season. Nothing flashy, no performance promises — just keeping a hard-working young body in good working order.

Parents

You’re carrying car seats, sleeping sideways, hauling gear bags. Your body is doing just as much work as theirs, and it deserves the same attention. And it isn’t only the lifting — the mental load of keeping everyone fed, packed, and where they need to be settles into your shoulders and jaw too. The care that helps your kids helps you too.

Worried about what an adjustment feels like for a kid? Come in and I’ll walk you through all of it. I work with wherever your child is that day — if they’re happiest on mom or dad’s lap, that’s where they get adjusted. It’s always gentle, just tailored to each kid. No surprises.

Why families come here

Because this is all I do — moms, babies, and growing families. I take the time to actually know your family, and I’ll always tell you the truth: if I think your kid needs something I’m not the right person for, I’ll say so and point you in the right direction.

What a first visit looks like for a kid

We talk first — with you, and with them if they’re old enough. I want to know what’s going on and what you’re hoping for. Then a gentle check and, if it’s a fit, a first adjustment. I tell them what I’m doing before I do it. If they’re not ready, we go at their pace.

She does an amazing job pinpointing and correcting trouble areas for them. They always leave the office saying how much better they feel. Their constant comment is how Dr. Taylor is able to adjust them without it hurting at all. I’ve noticed better posture, increased immunity and improved sleeping in all three since they started getting consistent adjustments.
